Save the date for the 2014 TASN Transition Summit! Join us June 2-3rd in Lawrence, KS. Bring a district team to study local data and learn from local & national experts. Build a plan to support your students with disabilities to meet their own post-school goals for education, employment and independence.
Early-bird registration opens in mid-March. Your district-level team can attend for just $300 total, or individuals for $100 each.
If your building-level team works with transition-age students and is seeking to improve the outcomes of students with disabilities, you are invited to participate in the Fall 2014 Transition Self-Study.
Transition Self-Study Units are an effective, building-based professional development provided by the Transition Coalition for TASN Provider KSSC and Kansas schools. Each 12-week Self-Study Unit includes a blend of online learning, team meetings, and individual work. Apply for the Fall 2014 Self-Study cohort beginning in August, 2014. KSSC's online presentations and webinars bring one-on-one expertise to your classroom. With a wide variety of topics, webinars are broadcast live & are then archived to be viewable at your convenience. These web-based, interactive presentations are brought to you by an expert in the field of secondary special education, and provide information on effective practices. Webinars give you the opportunity to ask questions and engage with national experts and other educators across Kansas.
